Palace of Justice

The Palace of Justice or "Istana Kehakiman" is a majestic-looking building in Putrajaya. It houses the judicial department and courts.

The Palace of Justice's design incorporates influences of Islamic architecture like the Taj Mahal in India, Moorish architecture, like the Sultan Abdul Samad Building in Kuala Lumpur and Western architecture, like The Palladian. The complex comprises a five-storey building for the judiciary and a two-storey building that houses the courts and offices.

The library is located on the ground floor, with the hearing rooms of both the Federal and Appeal Courts located on the first floor. The Registries and offices of the Appeal and Federal Courts are on the second and third floors, respectively, with the chambers of the Appeal and Federal Court Judges on the fourth and fifth floor.

A great place for outdoor photography with the impressive domed minarets on the background.
