Lang Tengah Island

Small but exotic, Lang Tengah Island or Pulau Lang Tengah off the coast of Terengganu is a gem on its own. Its alluring beauty can easily captivate you. Crystal clear sea-water, pristine beaches and untouched tropical jungle. An island you can call your own, private and tranquil.

Pulau Lang Tengah is a very small island located between Perhentian Island and Redang Island. This little island is accessible by a 30-minute boat ride from the Merang jetty in Terengganu. According to locals, Lang Tengah takes its name from 'Lang' derived from "helang" which means "eagle" in the Malay language, and t"engah", meaning "middle". Thus, the name Lang Tengah means eagles resting on the middle island.

A round-island trip by speed boat takes only 10 minutes. The beach is narrow and land is limited. However, its small size gives it its best advantage - Lang Tengah Island holds only 4 resort operators, ensuring exclusivity and privacy like no other.

This small island offers some of the best sea activities like snorkelling and scuba diving in Malaysia!
