Kuala Perlis

Kuala Perlis is the second largest town and the main port for Perlis state. Located at the estuarine delta of the Perlis River, Kuala Perlis is noted for its sumptuous taste of Laksa, a popular dish of rice noodles dipped in spicey fish soup and garnished with sliced onions and cucumber.

Seafood is equally popular with many superb seafood restaurants in this fishing town. Whether you want your crustaceans seasoned, cooked, fried, barbequed, grilled or sauted, the endless variety of seafood delights will leave you salivating for more.

Kuala Perlis is also the entry and exit point to Phuket Island and other coastal towns and villages of southern Thailand, as well as Pulau Langkawi.
