Sunday is the perfect time to go shopping especially at the Jalan Satok Sunday Market in Kuching, Sarawak.  Villagers ply with their produce and livestock on Saturday from afternoon till 5am the following day.

Beautiful textiles, beadwork, woodcarvings, and bamboo and rattan products are abundant and inexpensive here.

Capture the riots of colours, tastes and lifestyles of the Sarawakians and their diverse dialects. Have a go at the fat squirming grubs, sieet, or unique wild ferns "midin" and other jungle produce sold in makeshift stalls by the road.
